:__Terminal Quartet @ Make it up Club

:__Down in the Park! 20 March, 1-7pm

Through Summer many of us have enjoyed pleasant Sunday afternoons in Edinburgh Gardens courtesy of the Fat-Yin crew. To round off the suite of sundown sounds, from champagne fizz to frisbee slams, down-tempo grooves and subtle chants, Fat-Yin have invited the all new Secession crew and guests to lay down their tracks and improvisations to wrap it up till next the sun appears...

:__Terminal Quartet @ Make it up Club

An all new Terminal Quartet line up will debut at the Make it up Club, performing the third iteration of Garton's structured improvisation, Drift Theory.

Drift Theory is comprised of four individual movements (Genetic Drift, Neutralization, Continental Drift, Theory of the Derive) and an additional series of linking movements referred to as drift sequences.

When: Tuesday 19 April, 8pm
Where: Make it up Club, Bar Open, 317 Brunswick St, Fitzroy

The Terminal Quartet features yet another exemplary combination of musicians: internationally acclaimed composer/producer, Ollie Olsen; underground producer/sound artist, Steve Law (aka Zen Paradox); and synthesiser specialist, composer/performer, John Arthur Grant.

The Quartet draws inspiration from electroacoustic compositional techniques and analog synthesis. Expect the unexpected... and a few synthesisers!
