Garton's Terminal Quartet performed Drift Theory 2 in Brisbane, closing the Liquid Architecture Festival. It was recorded by Classic FM and will be broadcast nationally.

A limited CD-R release of Garton's live mash-up, hard-core fusion set is now available online only. Recorded at Double-O Bar and Republika late 2004 and remixed at Secession's Star Light Room studio.

The first performance of these pieces saw Garton in a headlock. An empty bottle was about to find Garton's head when the bar manager cleared the stage, leaving Garton to finish his set.
