:__ Terminal Quartet, Brisbane (SBB/Liquid Architecture)

Small Black Box hosts the final performances of Liquid Architecture 5, including the second iteration of Andrew Garton's, Terminal Quartet.

The performance brings together Andy Bagley, Andrew Kettle and Paul Abad. Garton had lived in Brisbane in the early 90s contributing to its new music and experimental theatre scene.

Collaborations with Bagley saw the explosive soundtrack to Debacle Theatre's "A Clockwork Orange" as one of the more landmark works during Garton's 14 months in Brisbane.

This will be a rare opportunity to hear four unique sound artists and composers collaborate on the second ever performance of Garton's "Drift Theory", a structure improvisation in four movements.

Another highlight of the performance will be the debut of the performance text engine, Cesarian, a creation of Roderick Garton, another member of the eclectic and prodigious Garton family of artists.

When: Sun, 25 July, 7.30pm
Where: Judith Wright Centre, Brunswick St, New Farm
