:__ Secession Records acquired by APC.au Ltd
The big news of the month is that Secession Records has been acquired by APC.au Ltd, the company that owns both Community Communications Online and Toy Satellite.
This basically means that we are no longer running as a sole trader. We now have company structure and non-profit status behind us giving us a lot more flexibility, potential capital and technical resources.
APC.au's Board of Directors are:
Andrew Garton
Justina Curtis
Grant McHerron
APC.au Ltd was founded by former Pegasus Networks staff, Paul Wilson and Bruce Morrison. Both have moved on in recent years leaving the present Directors to expand, extend and experiment with sustainable approaches to the creation and distribution of cultural content, that is built on collaboration rather than competition.
The basic charter of APC.au is available here:

APC.au is a member of the Association for Progressive Communications.
:__ GNOOB launched
We launched Future Eaters first album last Thursday evening... It was a tremendous success... Both music and visuals throughout the evening were exceptional... Future Eater and Spool's set was a kind of remix of the album with a mighty mighty AudioMulch patch at the helm.
Key Presch stunned, perhaps divided the Lambsgo Bar regulars from those who leapt into the next room and those that stayed, their jaws agape...
Have a listen to the MP3 samplers of GNOOB online and grab a copy of the CD before we run dry. It's the fastest moving CD we've launched to date.

:__ Streaming Provider Moves On
Last week we noticed errors on our streams and discovered that Wired Audio, long time Secession and Toy Satellite sponsor, has moved on. They let their domain name run dry, so too their DNS leaving us with streams broken and hours and hours of coding ahead of us to strip all this content off our sites.
Well, they did us a lot of good over the years and we're grateful for it. A little notice of their intentions would not have gone astray, but one get's what one doesn't have to pay for.
So, thanks for the years of unflinching service Wired Audio.
In the meantime, if you encounter problems with any streams on Secession, it's just that we ain't got to pulling them out of the system yet.
