___undercurrents on tour
|| secession update 14/08/01 #020
Greetings! It's been awhile since issue 19, but we ain't been idle. We have been successful in bringing to Australia two leading Taiwanese DJ/composers, Jimi Chen and DJ Ty, as well as video artist Vince Chung.
They will be touring with us along the east coast where we will give both group and individual performances.
If you're in Melbourne, join us at the Tour Launch Party at the infamous Lambsgo Bar in Fitzroy on Friday, 21-Sep, 7.30pm sharp.
For more tour dates, see below.
Although late, I would like to thank everyone who attended the DOODS launch in Brisbane in June. And a special thank you to Kathleen and Kieth for their generous offer of their home where the launch took place.
I'd also like to thank everyone who supported the debut performance of 'undercurrents' at the Melbourne Film Festival. The Festival enabled us to rig a vast number of monitors and projection options to expand the visual and sonic ideas delivered through the performance.
We are also pleased to announce that Psy Harmonics is distributing a select range of Secession releases. Thanks Ollie and Andrew for your support...
