due to easter licence restrictions centriphugal experimental won't start till 10pm, but we're on till 12.30. apologies for those planning to come earlier, but we were only informed of this tuesday afternoon.

last week "beam up" performed a solid set of very solid tones. they seemed to collapse the interior space of the venue, giving it a sense of volume and density.

one had the impression of stepping into solid sound matter! talking was interesting... that warbling effect when speech hits sub inspired air waves, got some audience participation happening in the darker recesses of centriphugal.

speed vinyl, yours truely, featured a new work from sydney composer, david nerlich. a mature piece exploring frequency shifts in evocative, melodic contructs that had this sense of vastness about it... quite in contrast with beam ups sound "mass".

this week we'll hear the diverse and compelling sounds of bags and nat who both performed at Liquid Architecture last sunday at the lounge.

so, don't forget... this week we're on from 10pm to 12.30am and it's softdrinks till midnight! byo refreshments.
