Podcast featuring Ross Bencina and Mesh

June's Sound Information opens with Bencerto, a composition by Ross Bencina, David Nerlich and Andrew Garton recorded in 2004. Ross, as some of you may know, conceived of the remarkable Audiomulch, and is a strong composer and performer in his own right. David, a Sydney based composer and filmmaker, performs synth guitar produced the final mix.

We also feature a live recording from Mesh, the Sydney based improvisation trio of David Nerlich (guitar synthesizer driving various sound modules), Robert Iolini (guitar midi controller driving sampler) and Phillip Mar (saxophones, treated bass guitar, sundry devices). This piece was recorded at the Performance Space, Sydney, in 1996.
