Secession is a low-cost, self-sustaining electronic and generative music publishing label, maintained solely by its artists.

The Secession concept is based on principles of sustainability and minimalism, utilising available resources, to give space to our in-house creations and collaborations.

Secession is self-determined, free from reliance on the economic constraints imposed by the majority of institutionalised structures that influence creative industries world-wide. That means we’re very DIY!

Is it safe to use my credit card on Secession?

As safe as it is on any site using secure, credit card authentication. Secession purchases are made securely via PayPal.

Do you have a usage policy for your download tracks?

Secession encourages the use of its MP3 releases, however we would appreciate that you follow our download and usage policy:

• You may freely download any or all of the MP3 files available from the secession web site.
• You may freely copy and distribute secession mp3 files onto CD, portable storage and playback devices, but you must acknowledge the artist and publisher. Contact secession for commercial usage of its MP3 files.
• You may place a link to all secession MP3 files from your web site, but not the files themselves.
• Take note of the Creative Commons licenses and abide by them.
• Tell your friends about us.

Can I send Secession my demo?

Yes! We would be only too pleased to receive your demo, however we only release what we can afford to, and of course the music and sound works we strongly support. We have a large back-catalogue of un-released works and projects to release first up though.
